Identifying the Studs and Height, Preparing where the Recessed In-Wall Power Kit to be installed, Lining up and Cutting of the Holes and the the Final Test of LCD Connectivity. What is not shown, is the Romex Connections being made (just matching wires and capping off), the installation of the HDMI cables and coax in the wall (which was simply sliding them down from top hole to bottom hole) and finally the lifting and clipping on of the LCD to Wall Bracket (which is extremely simple process - 1 Person in this case). PLEASE keep in mind that this install happen to be a perfect case scenario. 1. Studs where perfectly located to center of where the LCD was to be mounted. 2. There were NO obstructions in wall making it extremely easy to glide cables and Romex inside the wall from top to bottom of Wall Kit. 3. Existing outlet was located right under LCD making it very easy to connect from Wall Kit to Power. When you find yourself mounting an LCD in these conditions, it is very easy, quick and simple for anyone to do a professional job. The two splitters just arrived with todays mail. I immediately attached one where I wanted it and it is doing exactly what I was hoping it would do. I have to split a 33year old RG58 cable in my home to give me Internet access as well as to give me cable TV. The best splitter I was able to aquire locally had a 3.5 dB loss to both outlets and it made the Internet somewhat wonky. It would lose enough signal to disconnect for a few minutes several times a day before the Motorola modem would reaquire a signal. I did forego cable TV ( I also have satellite TV) by running a coupling on the RG58 to the modem for a while to be able to access the Internet, but now I am getting a good signal of 34.5 dB to the Motorola modem..

Start by selecting the location for your flat panel TV along with the location for both the recessed cable plates. Using the template and drywall saw provided cut a square into the drywall for the recessed square. Next pull the non-metallic electrical wire from one opening of the drywall to the other opening. Follow the install instructions on how to connect the wires to the appropriate terminal screws. Next, start inserting the receptacle portion of the plate into the retrofit (blue) work box. After that, feed and plug all the A/V and HD cables through the opening of the top recessed plate, to the below recessed cable plate. Again follow the instructions for connecting all the electrical/building wire. Fasten the three nuts tightly and pull all the cables through the bottom recessed cable plate. Follow the same steps as before and connect to the (blue) electrical box, making sure it is flush against the wall. Screw down the screws with wings that will tighten against the back of the dry wall. Install your flat panel TV mounting bracket. Plug the TV into both recessed plates and use the 6 foot power cord supplied to connect the two behind you wall and ENJOY!

Some basic points to always keep in mind before doing anything: 1. What is behind the wall, 2. makes sure you center the mount for easy viewing from different areas of the room, 3. always make sure it's level (tighten one Lag Bolt make your adjustments if needed then tighten your second Lag Bolt, 4. May, 2010 - ABItronix was awarded the Video Distribution Design Project for the newest state of the art electronic store in Santo Domingo, "TIENDAS CORRIPIO". Mounting an LCD TV with a Flat Mount Bracket from ProMounts

This is a very short video of an installation at NY Pizza & Italian Restaurants NEW location in Roxbury, NJ. Simple installation using ProMounts Large Flat Mount UF-PRO310! A couple things to point out;
a. The circular hole was from previous owners and we were able to capitalize on it by using it to feed all out cables through the hole and down the wall.
b. No video shown on the mounting of the support brackets on the back of the LCD. It really is pretty self explanatory and we forgot to snap a quick video of it - next time!
c. All the power and component cables were fed down the wall and out the back side of it were the outlet and HD Cable TV Box will be located.
d. We used a 10 foot HDMI cable so as to keep sufficient slack in wall and accomodate for removal of the LCD or for cable provider to locate HD box a little further away from selected spot.

Design of todays IT equipment combined with RADICAL changes in software are DOUBLING or TRIPLING the IT equipment demand / utilization. Demand on IT equipment is moving to 50% to 75%. This is NOT a theoretical change but rather a MAJOR paradigm shift. This means the shift is toward higher heat loads per sq ft or per rack. Computer Virtualization will substantially change heat loads. Equipment manufacturers have taken steps to increase the thermal thresholds of computers so as to withstand higher operating temperatures.

Before you can change the supply temperature you must first ensure that all rack inlets are operating safely below the new standard. Additionally, return temperatures must be warmer in order for AC systems to operate at peak capacity. This means you must separate the hot and cold airflow in the data center. Containment is the best way to fully separate the hot and cold airflow. One way of separating airflow is by using the drop ceiling void as a return plenum to the AC units. AC extensions (CRAC-up™) that draw air from the drop ceiling void are used to both balance the thermal load to each AC unit as well as ensure that only warm dry air is returning back to the AC coil.

The key to creating a CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) that is accurate is in the data gathering process. Keep in mind that Good Data Results In mean Good Data Out.

SubZero Engineering's data gathering provides a great deal of useful information such as a full equipment inventory, rack kw usage, airflow obstruction data, etc. Many companies have used these reports to help in capacity, footprint and hardware planning.
They have also created a proprietary software that is used on a tablet PC for the purpose of accurate data center data gathering. Their software will fully inventory all equipment in the data center by location, make, model, and heat load (see important information regarding heat load).
The two basic categories of data to collect is first in the FACILITY and then secondly in the RACK.

With all the options in todays Home Theater world lets better understand DVI and HDMI cables.
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) and DVI (Digital Visual Interface) actually are more alike than they are different and both support the transmission of digital signals. HDMI specifications were derived from the DVI guidelines and specs in 2002 and have continued to be enhanced with newer versions of HDMI. Today we are just now introducing the latest and greatest version of HDMI - v1.4.
If you currently have a DVI cable and are questioning switching it because you think HDMI is better, we recommend waiting until you upgrade to a new LED/LCD or Plasma or add a new component that requires an HDMI connection. With your existing DVI cable (although older generation) you are still getting a HD Digital image similar to that of an HDMI cable. The next time you add a component (Blue-Ray, LED/Plasma, etc) then defintely go for the latest version which is 1.4.
